Description
The infrastructure carrier unit is a system carrier mounted on the ceiling by the client. It combines ventilation and control components, electrical and sanitary installations, lighting, and other media into one product. Additional attachment elements such as media carriers, shelves, spot extractions, and monitor mounts modularly extend the system. The installation of partition walls as well as blackout and laser protection curtains is also possible.
Thus, our infrastructure carrier unit meets the demands of a complete laboratory infrastructure and can be used in any room concept due to its high-quality, modern design. It provides you with the necessary freedom to flexibly redesign your rooms and their infrastructure at any time. The infrastructure carrier unit is the further development of the ceiling grid to meet the requirements of modern construction methods with BIM, pre-assembly, and BIM-to-Field.
The Infrastructure Carrier Unit (ICU) is a modular system carrier that includes all necessary trades for technical room development. In detail, these are: ventilation and control components, electrical and cable tray installations, sanitary installations, lighting, and accommodation for media carriers (horizontal and vertical versions). The module is delivered and assembled in a prefabricated (prefab) construction. Due to its design, the infrastructure carrier unit can be used in any room concept. It enables a very flexible design of functional areas.

The Infrastructure Carrier Unit (ICU) is a unit oriented to building axes, independently mounted on the ceiling and partially covering the area, which provides the room with installation components such as supply and exhaust air, lighting, electrical and media installations.
It offers the possibility to mount common ceiling-mounted attachment components such as media carriers, shelves, wall cabinets, spot extractions, monitor and PC holders, swivel arms, etc. Additionally, the installation of partition walls and enclosures is prepared.
The infrastructure module is highly expandable. The basic component is a yoke support structure, which is mounted on the ceiling, adjustable and expandable. Installation components and attachment components are then mounted on it. A suspended, closed ceiling can be mounted independently of the infrastructure carrier unit on the building ceiling.
