Workplaces

After the expansion, the research and office building offers space for approximately 4,000 employees. Previously, there were about 2,300, significantly increasing the capacity at the site.

What is researched here

In life sciences, biotech, and medtech, flexible laboratory infrastructures ('Lab Seventy') are being created at the site, precise pipette calibrations are carried out, and innovative concepts such as 'Lab-as-a-Service' (Superlab Suisse) open up new avenues for research, development, and collaboration.

Wobatech Services

The first new buildings (Houses F & G) were completed in 2020, and the second construction phase (Houses H & I) in 2023 – each with a clearly structured construction process. The modules were manufactured using a pre-fab method and delivered just-in-time directly to the construction site, allowing for quick assembly without additional storage space. Through the consistent use of digital planning methods (BIM), all trades were precisely coordinated, interfaces minimized, and a smooth implementation was ensured throughout the entire construction period from 2018 to 2023.
